The general university deadline for application submission is December 1 for Spring admission, April 1 for Summer admission and July 1 for Fall admission. However, applicants should always review the application deadlines established by each department using the department home pages or by contacting departmental offices directly. If you wish to be considered for assistantships, fellowships or other types of merit based financial awarding, we strongly recommend all application materials be present in the Office of Graduate Studies by January 1st to ensure timely processing by our office. Most departments begin admission and awarding decisions on February 1st.
